The bill (Reg. No. 0882) establishes that: main macro figures of economic and social development of Ukraine for the respected period that were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers shall be taken into account when regulating prices (tariffs) for the commodities of subjects of natural monopolies; national commissions regulating natural monopolies shall submit to the Cabinet of Ministers information on effects of introduction and abolishment of state regulation of prices (tariffs) for the commodities produced by subjects of natural monopolies sold on the domestic market on the state of pricing policy in the respective sphere of regulation; commissions and the Cabinet of Ministers hold consultations on pricing policy, etc.
Committee members upheld the suggestion stipulating participation of members of a specialized committee in the commission meetings acting in a consultative capacity.
